bath

I rest my

head against

the porcelain

edge, and it’s

been so long

that I imagine

a dent in my

skin, a merger

of bone and

porcelain until

they are one in

the same.

And my skin

wrinkles and

prunes, a calling

a scream

of the passage

of time, and the

desire for

something more.
