Two Rooms

Two rooms sit

side by side,

sharing a wall.

And in them both

are: two people,

a boy and a girl,

and there is no

doubt love in both

rooms, but in one

there is laughter

and in the other

there are tears.

And I’m left

pondering the

complexity of love.
